Software Engineer C# (Mid/Senior)
Here at QUADIGI we provide software development and testing services for safety and medical devices. In particular we specialize in application and embedded software development for lung ventilation, anesthesia, breathalyzers, gas detectors and other similar devices used by emergency services as well as industrial workers all over the world.
Project
In this project, you would be part of an international team working Configurator application for a new generation Alarm and Gas Management System for hospitals and large clinics. The Configurator is a desktop tool used to set up and maintain devices that monitor medical gas supply, providing healthcare professionals with precise, real-time data on gas availability, performance, and quality.
Work
Your responsibilities would involve developing features of the Configurator desktop app using .NET 8 and WinUI 3 as well as:
- Implementing OPC UA communication with system devices
- Turning Figma designs into clean, responsive WinUI 3 views
- Collaborating with UX, system, and test engineers
- Participating in code reviews and preparing technical documentation
- Supporting troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement of the application
For this position we are looking to hire an experienced C# / .NET developer who previously worked on desktop-based solutions as well as have:
- Experience with Desktop UI with WPF, UWP or WinUI 3
- Understanding of SOLID principles and unit testing
- Experience with integrating devices or services over a structured protocol (OPC UA, gRPC, REST or similar)
- Ability to implement UI from Figma designs
- Hands-on OPC UA experience (client side, subscriptions, security) would be considered as a plus
- Experience with WinUI 3 specifics, including MSIX packaging would be considered as a plus
- Knowledge of CI/CD experience (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) would be considered as a plus
As a part of an international team, this person should also be able to freely communicate in English.
