Test Engineer (Mid/Senior) (Labview)
Here at QUADIGI we provide software development and testing services for safety and medical devices. In particular we specialize in application and embedded software development for lung ventilation, anesthesia, breathalyzers, gas detectors and other similar devices used by emergency services as well as industrial workers all over the world.
Project
In this project you would join an international team which is creating portable gas detectors and analyzers for toxic and explosive gases. Gas detection solutions helps to detect, measure, monitor and react to any gases immediately and protect personal lives of industrial workers.
Work
The work focuses on the test automation domain, specifically targeting (hardware-software) system level testing. In this project you would take a role in re-designing, building, and maintaining test rigs and automated test framework. As well as:
- Design and implement maintainable test automation architectures using established test design methods
- Conduct automated software tests utilizing relevant test documentation
- Support software development in analyzing test results
- Review and assist in improving system design and test documentation from a testing perspective
- Measure the quality of systems and software products and assist in improving product code
- Provide support and advice to development teams
For this position, we are looking for test automation engineer with prior experience in re-designing, building and maintaining hardware-software test rigs, also:
- Experience with test automation is a must
- Several years of professional experience with LabVIEW
- Experience working with Python
- Experience working with NI TestStand is a big plus
- Experience working with various software protocols would be nice to have
- Knowledge of Pytest framework is a plus
- Basic Git knowledge is necessary
