Test Automation Engineer (Safety)
Here at QUADIGI we provide software development and testing services for safety and medical devices. In particular we specialize in application and embedded software development for lung ventilation, anesthesia, breathalyzers, gas detectors and other similar devices used by emergency services as well as industrial workers all over the world.
Project
Join an international team creating software for world wide known alcohol screening devices. These devices help police, logistics companies, and other businesses ensure the safety of roads and workplaces. Breathalyzers are designed to perform alcohol tests with speed and precision. In this project, you will be responsible for maintaining and further developing the test framework for Alcotest devices and the Drug Check analyzer.
Work
It would involve the development of an automated testing system, writing system-level tests, and maintaining existing test suites. For this position, we are looking for an independent Test Automation Engineer who has prior experience working on large-scale complex design project as well as:
- Good Python knowledge and proven experience in object-oriented programming
- Experience with test automation
- Familiar with Python unit test framework
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, or PyInstaller is a plus
- Experience testing physical device or working with firmware flashing tools (STM32CubeProgrammer, St-Link, Segger J-Link) is a plus
- Fluency in English, both in written and spoken
