Senior Embedded Software Engineer C++ (Safety)

Project
Join an international team developing embedded softwaresolutions for firefighter protection and associated equipment. This criticalequipment is designed to monitor and support fire brigades during emergencies, enableremote monitoring, and ultimately save lives in situations involving fires, structuralcollapses, or hazardous gas exposure.
You'll have the opportunity to deepen your expertise in afocused technical domain while contributing to the advancement of both theproject and your own professional growth.
Work
It would involve work on embedded software development, new features creation, and providing support across a large-scale firefighter safety project portfolio. For this position, we are looking for a seasoned C++ developer who has prior experience working on large-scale complex design project as well as:
- Proficiency in C++ and RTOS environments
- Experience with microcontrollers for low power applications (Microchip ATSAML, ATTINY, TI MSP, Renesas RX family, ST STM32, or similar)
- Understanding of bootloader and firmware update methodologies
- Experience with debugging, fault finding and logging, and fail-safe design
- Experience with code reviews, including providing and receiving feedback, as well as maintaining code quality by ensuring software verification and validation
- Experience with Linux and C is a plus
- Experience in developing Battery Management Systems for Lithium-based batteries is a plus
- Experience with CAN, UART protocols for BMS/gauge/charger communication is a plus
- Fluency in English, both in written and spoken
