Product Owner
Here at QUADIGI we provide software development and testing services for safety and medical devices. In particular we specialize in application and embedded software development for lung ventilation, anesthesia, breathalyzers, gas detectors and other similar devices used by emergency services as well as industrial workers all over the world.
Project
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Product Owner to join our team and drive the successful development and delivery of few modules within our Medical Platform.
In this role, you will own few platform modules that support a wide range of globally deployed medical devices, including lung ventilators, anesthesia systems, bedside patient monitors, neonatal care equipment, and other critical healthcare solutions. These modules play an essential role in enabling innovation and ensuring high-quality patient care across international markets.
As a Product Owner, you will serve as the primary link between business stakeholders, development teams, and project partners, ensuring that product requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and delivered in alignment with business objectives and user needs.
Work
You will be part of an international and collaborative Agile environment, working closely with stakeholders and development teams across Germany and Lithuania. The role includes regular travelling at least once per quarter for PI Planning events and strategic workshops. Additional travel may occasionally be needed to support project and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities are aligned with business goals and stakeholders needs.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable development requirements.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and coordinate requirements across multiple project teams.
- Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
- Lead backlog refinement sessions and support sprint planning activities in close work with Scrum Master and the rest of the team.
- Define priorities for development teams and make informed trade-off decisions.
- Contribute to product roadmap planning and execution.
- Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Support testing and validation activities when required.
- Maintain accurate product documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Manager, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Proven experience managing product backlogs and prioritizing requirements.
- Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with the following tools: Jira, Hive, Confluence, IBM DOORS (requirements management).
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Product Owner certification (nice to have).
- Experience working in regulated environments would be a plus.
