Your responsibilities would involve specifying, developing, testing, and documenting software components for medical device IT network connectivity based on IEEE 11073 standards. As well as:

• Design and implement software stack which realizes the IEEE 11073 standard family for our medical products
• Design and implement unit and system tests to ensure software reliability and compliance
• Support requirements engineering activities in collaboration with system engineers
• Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement of software development processes
• Collaborate with various teams across the organization, ensuring smooth implementation of a medical device interoperability protocol

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer experienced in large-scale, complex system design, ideally with the following background:

• Proficiency in the use of C++ and Boost (preferably including Boost Beast/Asio)
• Experience with embedded operating systems like Linux or VxWorks
• Experience with secure network technology (Http(s), OpenSSL, WebServices, WS-Eventing, WS-Discovery, XML) would be a plus
• Experience with Modern Development Methodologies (Continuous Improvement of softwaredevelopment process, Test Driven Development (TDD) or Xtreme Programming, Continuous Integration, SCM)
• Proficiency with common build systems (CMake) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins - nice), Git would be a plus
• Familiarity with test frameworks such as Google Test would be a plus
• Familiarity with requirement engineering would be a plus
• Fluency in English both in written and spoken
